Following two sold out nights at the world-famous Madison Square Garden in New York City, Maroon 5 has unveiled the “Girls Like You” Volume 2 music video as their Red Pill Blues US tour concludes. Click HERE to check it out!
Inspired by the international impact and influence of the original blockbuster visual, the three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning multi-platinum band and director David Dobkin have debuted this second installment, which offers a light-hearted take featuring the same powerhouse cast of leading ladies.
Creating a full circle moment, the original “Girls Like You” video debuted on the kick off date of the US leg of the Red Pill Blues in May. To date, the video has eclipsed 1 billion total YouTube/VEVO views, impressively reaching this milestone in under only five months. Meanwhile, the single has held the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks. The single is also currently #1 at Hot AC for the eleventh consecutive week and soared to #1 at Top 40—claiming the #4 spot on the respective chart this week. Lastly, “Girls Like You” topped the Radio Songs chart for a twelfth consecutive week, earning the longest running #1 by any act since Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” and making it the longest running by any duo or group this century.
“Girls Like You” featuring Cardi B is available on the Deluxe Edition of Maroon 5’s platinum-certified sixth full-length album, Red Pill Blues. It’s out now.
As the latest leg of Red Pill Blues world tour concludes with a bang, the group plans to return to the road in 2019.
