The 947 Breakfast Club hosted Empire's superstar Taraji P. Henson on the show. Taraji landed in SA and had to make the 947 Breakfast Club her first stop!

DUring the interview, Anele and Taraji chatted about Hidden Figures - a movie Taraji chatted about when she was last on the 947 Breakfast Club.

The last time you were here, you spoke about Hidden Figures, but you were just by-the-by about it and it tuend out to be the biggest movie of the year, in my opinion.

Anele

I don't like to count my chickens before they hatch. I know what's in the script and the talent that was brought to the project. I didn't want to hype it up and then it's a flop... then the conversation would have been very different when I came back (laughs).

Taraji's latest project is What Men Want, which comes out in February 2019.What Men Want is a comedy, something Taraji is excited about, after playing a lot of serious roles on screen.

It's a comedy... _finally!_

There are some incredible moments during the interview.

One of them is Taraji singing along to DeBarge's All This Love.

Taraji sang this song in the seventh grade and during her performance she realised that she wanted to be in show business.

And this is the reason the world has Taraji P. Henson. Mount talent and she just erupts all the time. You are such a blessing to everyone, please don't stop any of that. You must be 98 and still like this.

Anele

Never, I'm too old to change!

Taraji P. Henson

We had the most amazing time with Taraji. A beautiful, talented and humble human being with so much love and energy to share with the world.
