[WATCH] New York subway riders bond, break into rendition of Backstreet Boys

On Sunday night, a New Yorker filmed this heartwarming moment which brought this group of strangers together.

One commuter walked down the carriage playing Backstreet Boys 'I want it that way' on his speaker and gradually the entire subway car joined in and broke into song.

The video was shared by a civil rights attorney, Joel Wertheimer, and has since been viewed over 2 million times, with thousands of people also sharing the post.

Twitter user reacted saying its part of what makes NYC special and seeing strangers of all races and backgrounds coming together made many smile.
