#FreshDeeds: Fresh On 947 and Island Tribe come together to help Carol
a week ago
Do you know a South African doing extraordinary things? Is it you? Tell us about it, because even superheroes need a helping hand.
Every Thursday, the #FreshOn947 team takes some time out to acknowledge an individual giving their time to help make our country better. These are the selfless people who do their part to help those in need or provide a service that helps improve the lives of others.
Catch #FreshDeeds every Thursday with the #FreshOn947 team at 17:15 for more incredible moments like this♥️
Carol runs an organisation n the East Rand that assists people living with Albinism. The organisation is called, Hands that Give.
Albinism is a congenital disorder characterized in humans by the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, hair, and eyes. Albinism is associated with a number of vision defects, such as photophobia, nystagmus, and amblyopia. Lack of skin pigmentation makes for more susceptibility to sunburn and skin cancers.
So, the #FreshOn947 team decided to get involved and get Hands That Give some assistance.
That when we decided to have a chat with Garth Maart, Brand Manager for personal care at Adcock Ingram, to find out how they would like to help Carol out.
