The etam chatted to Danielle Geyser in Zanzibar...

And off to an island we go. It was tough for us to play the Zanzibar national anthem when all we wanted to do was play some tropical beats and have a beverage with an umbrella in it. It is however not all sunshine and scuba diving in Zanzibar. The ministry have closed the island. No one goes in and no one goes out. All of this to keep their curve at just 12 infected. All hotels and restaurants have been closed. Some restaurants can deliver, but only those who can afford to keep open with all the health restrictions. The upside here is that it is rainy season, so the tourism would have been on a decline anyway. Therefore, it is the best, worst case scenario. Why did Danielle move there? She went to go teach in 2008, and then fell in love. Was it with her Scuba instructor? Well listen to find out... SOUND ON!!! #LockdownSA #Covid19 #LifeWith947
