Massyn rides dirt bikes, is a volunteer fire fighter and paramedic. He will come home and cook THE most amazing meal and still do the dishes. Despite the rough tough and dirty work, he will still take time to manicure his nails. A real endearmint; hard on the outside, soft on the inside
It is difficult to write down just how great Tebogo is. I do not think words could be a true reflection of his character. I met this selfless, caring guy two years ago, and the more I got to know him, the more I fell in love with him. Tebogo started off in the 'hood' making a living from selling eggs (door-to-door). After which he grabbed an opportunity to work for someone as an Uber driver, 4 years later and Tebogo has two Uber cars (in his name) and is still going strong. What’s most admirable about him is that way he always puts a smile on his face and gets on with it. It doesn't just stop there, he is also a positive role model for my son. He has no kids of his own, but he’s come into our picture naturally. Not to forget his D.I.Y skills. Anything that needs a nip or tuck around the house... HE’S ON TO IT!!! We have had some extreme downs, but he always chooses to be positive. He’s a true inspiration to me and many others in the community, and yet he is so humble. He deserves to be crowned Nissan Navara Guy!
My 23 year old son Zane is extremely the best, kind, loving child. He is studying at the moment. He has assignments, studying to do and not once will he complain. He wakes up every morning at 5:45 to take me to my bus stop because it is still dark and because of the muggings. When the car is not working he walks me to the bus stop, then walks home again to get ready for varsity and walks again to get his bus. I will wake him during the night because of aches and pains as I am 63 years old and will rub me out with ointment without ever complaining. Above all that his dad is 65 years old, makes headboards and he still helps his dad cutting wood, making sure all materials are bought in every Saturday. He makes sure we don't need anything before he goes out. The kids of today don't even have respect for the elders. That is why I am grateful and thank God for a son like Zane who appreciates the little we give him. Thank you.
Paul Kleanthous is a handsome and Bakkie-less Renaissance Man best known for that one time mid hail storm when he braaied 36 wors rolls for the under 9's rugby team using only his Bear Gyrlls knife, his shoe laces and an empty pot plant pot.
Paul knows how to use 162 different power tools, holds the world record for the most weight ever bicep curled, has changed 9.75 nappies, ranks first in the world for paint ball and good looks, invented the chariot thing for crippled dogs and has gotten 6/6 consecutively for What's Your Status the past 71 days.
When he's not riding around on his motor bike or going to the end's of the earth to make me happy, he's lending a helping hand to those in need and cracking the wittiest jokes. He's my hero.
My husband is the ultimate Joburg South guy-Big, tough & tattooed... He too is the most amazing father to our 4 daughter's & son.
He does the breakfast and school lunches, does the school run, works a full day & will start dinner. This is just the day to day!
Daryl is exceptionally hands on and happy to go from being a Princesses assistant, to Netball matches, Soccer matches, a playful boxing match on his knees with our 5 year old little boy, anything that can be done, he does. Nothing is too much for everyone else's happiness. He is Head coach at Robertsham FC and a mentor of the Character Company where he gives of his time and contribution to young boys and girls from all walks of life. I couldn't think of a more deserving man!!!
