7-year-old wedding cake served at Prince Louis's christening (Yummy!)
In true Brit tradition, tea was served at Clarence House with a tier of Will and Kate's wedding cake...soaked in brandy we assume.
People took to Twitter asking 'Is it normal to serve 7-year-old cake?' '7-year-old cake. Yummy!'
But apparently the British have an old tradition of serving a tier of the parent's wedding cake at the christening. Though one wonders if the cake may have tasted better if it had been only a year or two old.
The traditional wedding fruit cake is soaked in Brandy which should see it lasting until the end of time, joked Twitter users.
