#AlcoholFreeSA: Here's a list if alternative uses for beer
166 days ago
After several accounts of over-indulging witnessed on social media, Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi decided to address the issue of alcohol in SA with his #AlcoholFreeSA campaign.
“If you care about our nation, alcohol must be stopped in its tracks. We can’t allow this to continue unabated. Defenders of alcohol, please accept that this drug is ravaging our nation. It must be stopped. It strips the dignity of our people. #AlcoholFreeSA”Panyaza Lesufi, Gauteng Education MEC
The #FreshOn947 team shed some light on the situation and shared some of their thoughts on the matter. The issue was not about the consumption of alcohol, but rather the excessive misuse of alcohol.
Alcohol abuse is out of control in SA. I'm saying this from someone who is a drinker and we do take it overboard. It starts being abused at a very early age in our country. The most heartbreaking thing is seeing teenagers abusing alcohol.Mantsoe Pout, #FreshOn947 co-host
This got the team thinking about the alternative uses of Beer, should you have some lying around and you're looking to adopt and alcohol-free lifestyle.
Here's a list if alternative uses for beer:

A can or bottle of beer can serve as an alternative should you not have access to a fire extinguisher. Shake and spray...

Beer works as an amazing meat tenderiser.
Polishing your pots
Beer's acidity helps clean pots by pouring some on the pot, letting it sit for a while, and then cleaning it off.
Remedy for dull hair
