[LATEST] Some members of Anele and the Club test positive for COVID-19
Anele and the Club have been off-air for the past few days and we've been getting a lot of questions from Joburgers wanting to know if they're okay.
On Monday, the Club's Frankie Fire joined Zweli - standing in for the Club - to update Joburg on their absence.
You would have heard in the news that COVID-19 numbers have increased and that's one of the reasons we've been on away on sick leave - some of the team members have tested positive for COVID-19. We've said this over the past 8 months that everyone's body reacts differently to the virus, so we've been in various stages of getting better over the past couple of days. But ja, despite all the protocols - there are serious protocols in place at 947 and Primedia - but ultimately this just happens. One of the reasons we're isolating is to keep everyone safe, so we're going to be off for a few days.Frankie Fire, Anele And The Club
Frankie chatted to Zweli to update us on why they've been off-air...
We wish the Club a speedy recovery and we can't wait to have them back on-air.
947 LOVES YOU!
Thank you so much to Zweli for doing a sterling job in their absence.
Remember to keep safe, maintain social distancing, and sanitize as much as possible.
